Patience

When you’re creating something special in life, the final result can take a long time. It can be extremely frustrating and it can make you feel anxious and restless. No one has ever created something truly special without a lot of hard work, time, effort, positivity, and energy. It’s very easy to panic when the result doesn’t come out the way you want them to. There are a couple of steps that I find helpful to combat anxiety and panicked energy that will help you focus on the positives. They will help you attain the right mindset and help you feel more refreshed, relaxed and positive. Who doesn’t want that in their life? šŸ™‚

One way to focus on positivity when creating something is to focus on how proud you are of yourself. Creating something is no easy task and you’ve already done the hardest part. Creativity can range from a work presentation to drawing or all the way to designing a house. You should feel proud of yourself that you have what it takes to make something amazing. There will always be speed bumps in the road ahead and that’s something you’ll have to deal with. But right now it’s important to focus on the pride you have of your creation, hard work and of you in general.

Focusing on your breath can help to calm you down when you are stressed. What is one way you can describe your breath in a tough moment? Is it calm, steady and controlled or is it fast, rattled and uneven? These two breathing paths’ results are a lot more different than you think. Breath is a lot more powerful than you know and, if you breath calm and steadily, your breath can help you stay patient and collected in a frustrating moment which will help you stay positive.

You can attract what you want with your thoughts, so, using them well, is another important step in creation. If you constantly think about positivity, you will get positivity. You must be careful, however, to keep your thoughts positive and anything but negative. You will attract a frustrating reality while focusing on your frustration. So focusing on your pride, gratitude and positive thoughts will help you be more patient. So it’s thoughts, then breath, then Actions. Thoughts will help you escape panic and frustration and to dive into positivity and patience.

I encourage you to try these steps when you feel a little impatient or frustrated. When you are attempting to create something amazing, the worst thing you can do is doubt yourself and get angry when the final result takes too long. Patience will combat doubt and anger and these choices will help you return to patience again and again. Sending you joy vibes!

  1. So happy to read your post..short..sweet and to the point- it’s true what you say – thoughts, breath, actions- it’s the only way to keep your calm. Having an inner dialogue is an excellent way to be positive..it’s tough but you got to do it. Thanks
