Spreading Positivity

Spreading kindness and positivity is what the world needs right now. I believe that if everyone had a little more positivity and happiness in their life, the world would be in a much better place. When you spread love, you will always get love back. It’s contagious and affects anyone who receives it. Unfortunately people either think they are very “busy” and have no time to spread positivity or they are greedy with what they have and choose to keep it for themselves. They don’t understand that when you give a little, you’ll end up getting a lot. It feels good to spread a little bit of joy to someone who looks frustrated or lost. You’ll feel more proud of yourself and you may make a new friend.

So how can you make sure that you are constantly spreading positivity to everyone and what are some ways to do that? Positivity is so powerful because it can go both ways. Your positivity can lift up others and will help you lift up yourself. Talking kindly to people is a great way to do both, especially with the people you see every day. Sometimes people treat strangers kinder than their own family. They aren’t concerned enough about their family’s feelings and will sometimes hurt them for no reason. You should always think about what you are going to say and how the person might feel before you say it. That way you can make sure no one gets hurt in a conversation. Listening to people is another way to lift them up. When people feel heard and understood, they also feel the affects of kindness. When people feel rushed and ignored, they tend to put up walls and act rude back to you. There’s a difference between hearing someone and truly listening to someone with your heart and your mind. Usually, the person can tell which one you’re doing so make sure to generously listen. Talking kindly and truly listening are great ways to lift others up in your life.

Lifting others up is a great way to spread positivity but sometimes, for some reason, people choose to stay down when others lift them up. The people that do this usually stand out. You’ll see them with really sad body language, a really negative outlook on life and they can often sulk in misery and sadness. Your positive energy is valuable and don’t feel obligated to waste it on people who choose not change and run towards positivity. Positive energy is so valuable and rare that the last thing you want to do is to give it away to someone who doesn’t want it. It’s important to give it to people in need of a lift-up but it’s also important not to give it away to people who don’t want it. Make sure to steer clear of energy thieves, the people that take your positivity and bring you down. Energy thieves have a certain toxic vibration that you should read. They often like to see problems in others and can make you feel like there’s something wrong about you or in your life. In these situations, it’s best to summon as much belief as possible in yourself, ignore, and calmly walk away. Your energy is valuable and even though it’s very important to give, it’s also important to not give it away to people who don’t deserve it.

Positive energy is such an important gift to the world right now! It is important to use and spread it well and in the best ways that will magnify it most. Always make sure to focus on the joy inside you and to let it out into the world whenever possible — in ways that keep it going round and round. Sending you joy vibes!

  1. I absolutely agree with your wise post and can look back on my life of learning these lessons. It is still a practice to maintain this energy. Kindness is such a gift, we receive fully in the giving of it. Attention and listening with all heart are the greatest form of kindness, often taken for granted. Agree with you on toxic energy that saps the joy out of us. Well written!
